Visit Colgate In Person

There are several options for admitted students to see and experience Colgate in March and April. Registration is limited and required.

Registration for admitted student visit programs will be available in mid-/late-March.

Admitted Student Visit Days

Daily, Monday–Saturday
Mar. 25–April 30, 2024
10 a.m.–12 p.m.

Admitted Student Visit Days (ASVD) is a daily visit experience for admitted students that includes a brief welcome session, campus tour, and lunch with a current student. Admitted students also have the option of attending a class, Monday-Friday.

10–10:20 a.m. — Welcome and congratulations, Hurwitz Admission Center, James B. Colgate Hall
10:20–noon — Campus tour and lunch at Frank Dining Hall with a current student

Class visits (optional)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 12:20–1:10 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday at 8:30–9:45 a.m.

*Class visits are for admitted students only. Please check-in at the Office of Admission at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your class visit.

An additional ASVD program will be offered on Saturday, April 6 and Saturday, April 13, 1–3 p.m.; ASVD will not be offered on April 19, 26, and 27.

Experience Colgate

Friday, April 19, 2024
10 a.m.–2 p.m.

Experience Colgate is an open house for admitted students. This year’s program is a self-paced, self-guided walking tour of campus and Hamilton, N.Y. that features 13 stops where admitted students can learn more about PվƵ academic and residential experience and meet with Colgate community members.

Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. and continues throughout the day. Lunch is available, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required.
